How we select what we sell

With integrity and heart. All our products support at least one of the following: spiritual/meditation practice, the earth, fair trade, ancient wisdom, indigenous culture, beauty or oneness.

Prabhuji’s Gifts is a non-profit company founded by Prabhuji, a writer, painter and avadhūta Mystic. The company manufactures and distributes a fine selection of aromatic and esoteric items from different traditions and spiritual paths that Prabhuji himself had walked through during his evolutionary process. The aim of Prabhuji’s Gifts is to preserve and disseminate traditional religious, mystical, and ancestral crafts, as well as to distribute spiritual books, while upholding high environmental and ethical standards. All proceeds are donated to charitable and spiritual causes.

Prabhuji’s Gifts is part of the Prabhuji Mission and is managed and operated by the monastics of the Mission. The Prabhuji Mission is a Hindu church located in the Catskill mountains. The church follows the spiritual teachings of Hinduism according to the vision of Prabhuji, H.H. Avadhuta Sri Ramakrishnananda Babaji Maharaja.

Inspired by the teachings of Prabhuji, our goal is to provide a variety of religious and devotional items from various religions and spiritual paths. Prabhuji teaches that all religions, as different as they seem to be, in essence, express one existential phenomenon- the yearning of the finite to the infinite.

All proceeds from our sales go to fund and support the activities of the Prabhuji mission: book publication, video lectures, Hindu temple, and the Prabhuji Food Distribution Program, a weekly event in which we provide many dozens of families in Upstate New York with fresh and healthy food products. We also operate the Prabhuji Toy Distribution Program, a yearly mega-event on Christmas eve, where we distribute toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them.

UER is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit urban land trust that was formed to work with landowners, associations, and communities to preserve or develop Eco-Functioning Spaces® — value-enhancing green spaces that serve multiple, integrated ecosystem functions — and then to protect these spaces, and their functions, over time.

We are dedicated to finding mutually beneficial ways of working with our partners to place Eco-Functioning Spaces (EFS) on urban lands and then to protect and enhance those EFS (and their functions) over time.  Where there are opportunities to expand Eco-Functioning Spaces (EFS), or aggregate them with other EFS, in order to increase the scale of the ecosystem services they can offer, UER will pursue them.

UER’s mission is to support the development of Eco-Functioning Spaces, design them to enhance value, protect them over time, engage site users and local communities in their care and appreciation, and ultimately, connect them into protected greenways that promote regional environmental and public health benefits.

Teaching people about the many ways Eco-Functioning Spaces benefit their lives, how to enjoy and respect these spaces for long-term individual and community benefit, and building STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) skills through an understanding of the science that makes EFS work are all also part of UER’s role.
