MOGALIXE.COM LLC

Mogalixe's staff work remotely in order to minimize the company's impact on the environment by not creating a dedicated workspace.  This eliminates daily commuting and the use of additional electricity in an office space, thereby reducing the use of fossil fuels and greenhouse gas emissions.  When necessary for face-to-face meetings, we use only shared offices or public spaces like restaurants.  We encourage our staff to use recycled paper for printing and to print only when necessary.  Staff are given employee discounts on Mogalixe products and are encouraged to use these products in their homes to help the environment.  We recycle all paper waste used in the business.

At Mogalixe.com LLC, we focus on reducing single-use plastic and chemical pollution by offering eco-friendly alternative products.

Most plastic items are single-use. As a result, plastic waste is an exponentially growing global pollution problem and the spread of harmful micro-plastic that may lead to disease. No matter how you dispose of plastic, it will cause pollution. When burnt, it pollutes the air. When thrown in landfills, it poisons the soil and groundwater, and may eventually end up crowding the oceans. Mogalixe offers lines of eco-friendly single use bags and straw products made from renewable material and packaged in recycled material with eco friendly print. Our pet waste and kitchen/home bags are plant-based bags, biodegradable in landfills and home or industrial compost. The material breaks down completely, leaving no harmful toxic residues behind. It has passed the most restrictive home and industrial compost certifications. The plant-based raw material is developed and made in the USA, using only abundant, surplus crops. Our bags are certified compostable by the Biodegradable Products Institute to meet the ASTM D6400 standard and meet European EN 13432 and also Certified OK Compost HOME for disposal in home’s garden compost heap by TUV Austria. Our straws are made from plant-based material and biodegradable in industrial compost.

Due to microfiber’s durability and its many advantages over other materials, it has become the most used textile material in a number of areas. Most microfiber materials are not biodegradable or recyclable. Most microfiber products also use "AZO-DYES" because they are considered to be easy to use and relatively cheap. Azo dyes contain chemicals known to cause harm to humans and the environment. In order to reduce microfiber pollution, we use only Azo-free dyes. We are committed to using only Azo-free dyes in our textile products and to designing microfiber products based on earth-friendly ideas. We developed our microfiber hair towel "Mogalixe Turban Twist" to be soft, durable, fast-drying, and healthy for you and your hair. Our hair towels are tested and certified by eurofins azo-free. Mogalixe always prefers to work and partner with manufacturers and companies that focus on developing products that produce fewer greenhouse gases and use less non-renewable energy.

Saving the environment is a very complex task, but if everyone contributes a little bit, we will be in a better place. We work remotely and use shared offices for some events, allowing us to minimize harm to the environment. We are working as hard as we can to bring to market more of Mogalixe's durable and Earth-friendly products, and provide our customers

with environmentally friendly products of the highest quality. Every contribution is important to preserve our environment.

Please skip this question if you do not use latex in your products.

If you use latex in your manufacturing or sell products with latex, where is it from? E.g., what town and country are the rubber trees growing in?
