Bee's Wrap, the product, started with a question: Could we find a better way to store food, without the waste and without the plastic?
The solution we discovered is as beautiful as it is simple. Bee’s Wrap makes washable, reusable — and ultimately, fully biodegradable — food storage wraps, handcrafted in Vermont from just four natural ingredients: GOTS-certified organic cotton, sustainably harvested beeswax, organic jojoba oil, and tree resin.
Wrap cheese, half a lemon, a crusty loaf of bread, and fruits and vegetables. Cover a bowl, or pack a snack for your next adventure.
Bee's Wrap, the company, poses another question: Can we find a better way to build a business?
Our mission is to use our work, and the best manufacturing practices, to support our planet and better the lives of our employees, families, and local and global communities. We are vested in the values and environment we pass along to future generations.
Accordingly, sustainability is at the heart of all of our choices. We carefully evaluate each ingredient we work with and the materials we use in our production process. All of our product scraps and “seconds” (product containing small flaws) are either donated to the community to be used as natural, long-burning fire starters or given away to schools and organizations around the country who are striving to be more sustainable. Our packaging is made from 100% plastic-free and recycled materials, and our products are compostable once they reach the end of their useful life.
We believe business has the opportunity and obligation to do good in the world.
Which is why we prioritize corporate giving, with a focus on projects that support healthy bee populations, cleaner waterways, and education in sustainable practices to protect our earth.
Bee’s Wrap is available in over 3000 stores across the US and is distributed to over 40 countries. We are a woman-owned and -operated, Green America-certified company, as well as a proud B Corp, meeting the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability.
Together, we believe we can stem the tide on plastic pollution and do better for our earth.
